What is the Total Training Experience?

The JillFit Total Training Experience is a comprehensive 52-week journey into a forever-healthy lifestyle.

I created this program because honestly, I think quick fixes like 7-day jump starts, 21-day detoxes and 30-day nutrition challenges are doing us a disservice in the long haul. They’re irresistible in the sense that as humans, we like novelty and we are swayed by the promise of a fast fix and a once-and-for-all solution.

But over time, we end up maybe losing weight temporarily, following strict protocols and plans we could never hope to keep up, all to gain the weight back (and sometimes more!) when we inevitably can’t comply. Over time, we feel more and more defeated. No wonder we don’t really believe sustainable fat loss and a forever-healthy lifestyle is possible.

But it’s not a problem with YOU, it’s a problem with the approach.

The ultimate solution is strapping in for the long haul. That’s why I created a year-long educational journey, because real, lasting change happens with time, learning and resiliency until you have created the perfect and unique approach FOR YOU.

This program is a year.

That’s a long time. But that’s by design!

I created the TTE after hearing from hundreds of women that they have spent 5, 10, 20 years yo-yo dieting, jumping from plan to plan, detox to cleanse, and have nothing to show for it after that many years (!!!).


It actually breaks my heart, even when I think of the years I wasted incessantly dieting, only to end up less lean, more obsessive and with a metabolism that was less responsive.

Enter #moderation365 and shorter, more efficient workouts. And after a few years, I had my life (and my sanity!) back.

It’s a process. It’s a practice. It’s not something you just slot yourself into and try to follow to the T. Instead, YOU create the rules based on learning about yourself. And that, by nature, takes time.

And so I created a 52-week program because after hearing about the literal DECADES women have wasted trying to lose weight (and hating their bodies all the way). I felt compelled to create an ultimate solution.

A year is a long time, but when you put it in the context of the years wasted doing things that never worked, I figure:

This will NOT be a coaching page, but I will pop in now and then to share insights, moderate things and share my 2 cents.

  • Someone who wants it to be easy. Easy is earned through time spend learning YOU. 52 weeks is the minimum amount of time required


The goal is consistent implementation for a year with the big rocks, quit “program jumping” and start doing consistently — no off-the-shelf meal plans, no rigid rules, only insight, learning, effective workouts and a complete education in YOU.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many times a week do I have to work out?

The Total Training Experience suggested workout calendar for each month changes based on the time of year, what we are focusing on and what the theme of the month is. We change up the focus month to month so that we stay engaged and continue to be consistent throughout the year. Some months it will be 5x/week and other times less. But, as always, the program will help you figure out what will work FOR YOU long-term.

What if I am doing another program?

The TTE is a guideline for you for the year. I recommend starting it when you are ready and following it as closely as possible for best results, buuuuut if you have something you want to try along the way, that’s fine. Plenty of gals will do that and then come back to the TTE workouts and programming when they’re ready. It’ll always be here for you. Start when you are ready, and do your best.

How long do I have access to the TTE program?

You have lifetime access. You purchase once and have everything for good.

I need nutrition help, will TTE be good for me?

The TTE has two parts: monthly workouts and accountability, and then ongoing education into nutrition and mindset. We all know WHAT to do, it’s just the doing that’s tough. The nutrition education is the backbone of the program. Weekly, we’ll be discussing everything from cravings and hunger to peer pressure, dining out and how to trust yourself around food. This is not designed specifically for weight loss, but for 95% of people who go through this process and create a way of eating that’s effortless and effective will experience major changes in their physiques (and sanity!).

How is the TTE delivered?

There are 3 parts:
1) The online membership portal you will log into using a username and password. Here you will get access to your video (and audio/PDF) workouts, your monthly training calendar, additional archived education on nutrition and mindset and more.
2) Weekly emails delivered to your inbox with nutrition and mindset education. We will be going through several modules throughout the year: strategies, tools, insights and stories.
3) The closed private Facebook community for TTE members only. This is about accountability, connection and sharing together.

I think I need more coaching, will this be enough?

The Total Training Experience is not a 1:1 coaching program, and there is no individual customization. BUT, that’s by design! The workout and eating regimen that will work for you long-term won’t be the one some random coach gives you to follow, but instead the PERFECT plan that you will create by doing introspection work, paying attention to your body’s signals (I teach you how to do that) and making adjustments mindfully. However, we will of course all keep one another accountable in our private community coaching group!

What equipment do I need for the workouts?

There are both gym workouts and home workouts given each month. Home workouts require dumbbells and gym workouts will require a squat rack, benches and barbells (as well as dumbbells).

What if the TTE doesn’t work for me?

Here’s the thing: no one can ever, EVER guarantee results, BUT what I can guarantee is that if you work this system, do the short HW assignments given, start getting mindful and really engage in this process, it will absolutely work for you. So much of what causes us struggle is the desire to HAVE ALL THE RESULTS RIGHT NOW. But believe it or not, that’s actually not what we want! The faster it comes off, the faster it goes back on (and more!). The goal is slow, sustainable change that will feel easy, enjoyable and effective by 12 months from now. This is not a quick fix, but it is definitely a long-term solution. So much of this comes down to your MINDSET! Which we will be working on big-time.

Do I have to do the TTE workouts or can I do my own thing sometimes?

Like everything, we need to stay flexible and honor ourselves. For example, if you want to train for a 10k, then you’ll work to figure out a way to make it all work for you, no problem. The monthly workouts and calendar are great for when you don’t want to think about anything, and just want a done-for-you effective plan. No workouts are ever longer than 30 minutes! 

I feel like I need accountability, will the TTE have this?

One of the best parts about the TTE for this year is that we are opening up a private Facebook group exclusively for members. I’ve never done this before, but after seeing the success of the #20x20Challenge and #MetconMonster and how the group dynamic made it a lot easier for participants to stay consistent, I knew I needed to add it this year. The community will be for connection, accountability, sharing stories of struggle (and success) and a sisterhood of like-minded women all wanting to elevate together. It will be magic, and I can’t wait! 😉

What is the refund policy?

This program requires you adopt the long game. And I only want to work with people who are fed up with the dieting game and are finally ready to work the long-term, sustainable process. So please, please, PLEASE know yourself well enough to know if you are someone who jumps from program to program, or if you are ready to settle in for the long haul. Please don’t enroll if you are the former. With that said, there is a 30-day refund policy.
